Our Love for the Islands

The islands give you space. Space to breathe, to marvel, to be still. For many of our guests, this is the place where they truly unwind – and the place they remember the longest.

Island Time

On the Way Between Sky, Rock, and Sea

Saenigan – Just You and the Ocean

One of our favorite tours takes you to the secluded island of Saenigan. There are no roads, no houses – just pure nature. It’s the perfect place to slow down, enjoy a picnic, take photos, or simply listen to the waves.

We’ll take you there by boat – and pick you up later.
And if you’d like, we’ll even pack a tent, sleeping mat, and firewood for a night under the stars.

Myken – Small Island, Big Whisky

Myken is something entirely different – but just as fascinating. A tiny island village in the middle of the North Atlantic, best known for its whisky distillery.

Here, the raw sea, inspiring people, and intense flavors come together. The guided tour through the distillery is an experience in itself – just like the boat ride across open waters to get there.

Silsanden – Peace by the Sea

A short hiking trail leads you through open landscapes down to the sheltered bay of Silsanden. White sand, calm water, and a firepit – perfect for a break, a picnic, or a night in a tent.

A simple path. And a place that stays with you.

Arctic Circle Center – The High North

At 66°33′ north, a new chapter begins – or at least, it feels that way. The futuristic Arctic Circle Center marks the symbolic gateway to the Arctic.

Inside, you’ll find stories of the northern lights, Scandinavian design, and a hot cup of coffee. A short stop? Maybe. But one you won’t forget anytime soon.
